Join us for this month’s Coffee with a Curator, where Museum staff and invited guests explore Salvador Dalí-inspired topics. This month, we celebrate the opening of our new special exhibition, Alberto Giacometti & Salvador Dalí: Through & Beyond Surrealism, with an introductory lecture by The Dalí Museum’s Curator of Special Exhibitions, Dr. William Jeffet.

Alberto Giacometti & Salvador Dalí is a collaboration between The Dalí Museum and Paris’s Fondation Alberto et Annette Giacometti. This landmark exhibition is the first in the United States to present these two celebrated artists side by side.

The show brings together a diverse selection of Alberto Giacometti’s works — including paintings, sculptures, and archival materials—from the Fondation Giacometti, displayed alongside Salvador Dalí’s pieces from The Dalí Museum, highlighting both the intriguing parallels in their artistic visions and the distinctiveness of their individual styles.
