This workshop is a part of St. Petersburg Data Literacy for Community Action (DLCA). Led by an expert curriculum developer and data education instructor this workshop will address the issues of finding and trusting data. We will focus on local data and include speakers using local data to make community change.

Participants will leave with an understanding of:

  • When and why to trust data reliability
  • How to find free and accessible data, how to access restricted data
  • The basics of collecting data

Laptops are encouraged but not required. No prior knowledge or experience is required.

Doors open at 8:30 AM; programming runs from 9 AM to 12 PM.
