Funding Your Organization: Grantwriting and Generating Diverse Revenue Streams

This training session will familiarize nonprofit professionals with the knowledge and skills to establish robust and sustainable funding for their organization. Participants will learn to create funding strategies that may include grant writing, fundraising, social enterprise, and more. The course will cover grant writing basics, project budget creation, grant research, and how to select the most appropriate opportunities. Participants will learn strategies to increase efficiency, find more ease, and achieve greater return on investments in grant application processes. Additionally, this course will cover sources of revenue beyond grants that can bolster funding and lead to long-term sustainability.
Learning Goals:
Participants will understand the various funding sources that can contribute to their overall revenue.
Participants will begin to develop a comprehensive fund development strategy that capitalizes on opportunities specific to their organization and goals.
Participants will understand the basic components of a grant application and how to create those components in order to be ready to apply as opportunities arise.
Participants will learn effective strategies for grant research and selection specific to their organizations.
Participants will learn to create project budgets that meet their organizational needs and fulfill grant requirements.
Participants will identify additional sources of revenue to explore or implement after the workshop.
Participants will be equipped to plan for longer-term sustainability.
