Hidden, Historic Campbell Park is an insightful tour of the city's first "Negro park". Historian Josette Green has focused her research on this park for the last 4 years after almost 20 years of researching the city's Black history since it's founding. She shares little known stories of the long history of this park accompanied by maps and photos. Participants will see a beautiful park today with interesting stories of how it came to be. The tour is 2 hours in length and the walk is less than a mile on flat ground.
