-----------
JONESIN' is a folk-art representation designed by Ed Derkevics to shine a light on the downtrodden in society. This art exhibit questions the contemporary societal structures in place that allow these inequities to permeate:
How do we as a society assist those who have fallen through the cracks? The downtrodden, the homeless, the impoverished, the down-on-their-luck, the under-educated, the incarcerated, the people who might need a helping hand?
This artwork shows people who society has left behind. How can we, as a society, give hope to these people? Can we, as a society, do better?
