The Clearwater Shuffleboard Club is hosting a series of classes to provide you with what you need to learn to play the sport of Shuffleboard on a basic level as well as an advanced level. Every level of player is welcome, from beginner to pro.

On May 15, 2025 from 7pm to 8:30 pm, the topic will be Shuffleboard Basics.

Instructed by Crystal Zorich, who is currently the 5th ranked female Shuffleboard player in the world representing the United States Shuffleboard team and Mark Auchtung, who is currently the 3rd ranked male Shuffleboard player in the world representing the Brasilian Shuffleboard team, you will receive expert instruction that will provide you with what you need to understand and start playing Shuffleboard.

Beginning with classroom instruction, Shuffleboard Basics will cover how to use the equipment, play the game, keep score, and many other facets of the game. Once the classroom portion is completed, the class will move to the courts to put into practice what you were taught with the assistance of other seasoned players and coaches.

The cost is free for Clearwater Shuffleboard Club members and $10.00 for non-members. Pre-registration is not required; please arrive by 6:45 pm.
