Join us for a discussion about the exhibition Paul Éluard: Poetry, Politics, Love, which focuses on the most renowned and idealistic of all surrealist poets, Paul Éluard. Known as “the Poet of Freedom,” Éluard helped found Surrealism and was committed to its exploration of dreams, love and freedom. Peter Tush, Dalí Museum Curator of Education, will discuss Éluard’s approach to poetry, his transition from Surrealism to Communism, and his devotion to the idea of love, embodied by the two muses of his life, Nusch Éluard and Gala Dalí.
Location: The Dalí Museum’s Raymond James Community Room
