In 2022, data collection and analysis continues to be top-of-mind for many organizations. Gartner’s Top 10 Data and Analytics Trends for 2021 predicts a migration from big data to small and wide data. Research from International Data Group foresees organizations remaining most competitive when data and analytics strategies become concerns rather than afterthoughts.
However, a study from hardware manufacturer Seagate points out that 68 percent of data isn’t analyzed, and Dun and Bradstreet’s latest research shows severe data siloes from 82 percent of respondents.
That’s why the Pinellas Tech Network Meetup is excited to welcome the University of South Florida’s Dr. Thomas P. Stablein for a discussion on leveling up your organization’s data quality.
Attendees can expect to learn:
• How organizations can improve data quality
• What types of models or structures are available for businesses to use
• Insight into what data maturity looks like
• …and more!
At USF, Stablein is the director of two business analytics and information systems programs for the Muma College of Business. He also teaches project management, leadership, managing resources classes in the School of Information Systems Management. Stablein has deep experience leading teams in application development, business analytics, and program management as a senior executive at Constellation Energy. Prior to Constellation’s sale to Exelon, he led a 300-plus person development shop, delivering $250 million in annual investment.
