n honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. the Sanderlin IB World School PTSA and League of Women Voters are hosting a community cleanup. Our Day of Service will be in the surrounding Sanderlin area (not on the school campus) along 22 Ave. S. on Monday, January 18 from 9:30-12:30.
We will be requiring participants (kids and adults) to wear facemasks. If you do not bring one, we will provide you with a disposable mask. We ask that you utilize the Sign Up Sheet to pick a designated time slot so that we can maintain distance between arrivals to ensure social distancing and prepare enough cleanup supplies.
The Check-In area will be right in front of the Sanderlin Center, 2335 22nd Ave. S., with a table of wipes, hand sanitizer, latex gloves, and trash bags to provide to participants. Each participant group (i.e. family) will be assigned to a particular block for litter/debris pick up, which will also reduce crowding.
We recommend that you bring items such as reusable work/garden gloves, reusable water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray.
