Silent flight. Fantastic vision. Fast reflexes and piercing talons. All of these adaptations make our Florida owls notable nocturnal predators! Join Sensing Nature biologists Jeanne Murphy and Brian Lane to learn how these stealth hunters benefit both nature and people through their chosen diets. Then become a nature sleuth yourself by dissecting an owl cast and see if you are wise enough to identify your owl’s previous meal!

This class is recommended for adults and youth ages 6 and up. Youth must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class.

If you can't make our August date, this program will also be offered again in September! RSVP for our September date here.

Proceeds will support the Friends of Weedon Island, a non-profit organization that work to promotes education and conservation of the Weedon Island Preserve. Learn about our Friends!
