We are thrilled to announce that we can finally come together, learn about cultural planning and why it's so important and valuable right now to the arts community in Pinellas County.
Find out at the much anticipated We Convene Town Hall! Join us on our rescheduled date Tuesday, Oct 18th from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater!
We will come together and review the results of the six WE CONVENE sessions that started in February and continued through July. Presenters will share both what was discovered during the process and the innovative ideas participants developed and shared. We will also hear from cultural planner, Dr. Linda Flynn PH.D. who will share her expertise on cultural planning.
The October 18th Town Hall is an outgrowth of six meetings sponsored by Creative Pinellas and Pinellas Community Foundation and co-hosted by area arts leaders including the Florida Orchestra, The St. Petersburg and Clearwater Arts Alliances, the Carter Woodson Museum, Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Forward Pinellas and Arts4All.
These meetings featured small group discussions, and featured guest speakers from within and outside Pinellas County who shared their pioneering approaches to sustain, nurture and grow the arts, and to innovatively solve key challenges in their communities.
This event will be held at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen Booth Road Clearwater, FL 33759. Creative Pinellas is partnering with the Pinellas Community Foundation for this WE Convene Town Hall and Sessions.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
