Attention all artists, arts leaders and community leaders and members. Join us for the WE Convene Town Hall on Friday, September 30 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.
We will come together and review the results of the six WE CONVENE sessions that started in February and continued through July. Presenters will share both what was discovered during the process and the innovative ideas participants developed and shared. The Town Hall will also focus on creating a road map moving forward and moving from the process of discovery to developing a forward-looking plan, as well as, include a keynote presentation by Linda Flynn Ph.D. and David Plettner-Saunders, both are partners with the Cultural Planning Group.
The September 30 Town Hall is an outgrowth of six meetings sponsored by Creative Pinellas and Pinellas Community Foundation and co-hosted by area arts leaders including the Florida Orchestra, The St. Petersburg and Clearwater Arts Alliances, the Carter Woodson Museum, Visit St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Forward Pinellas and Arts4All. These meetings featured small group discussions, and featured guest speakers from within and outside Pinellas County who shared their pioneering approaches to sustain, nurture and grow the arts, and to innovatively solve key challenges in their communities.
Creative Pinellas is partnering with the Pinellas Community Foundation for this WE Convene Town Hall and Sessions.
