We welcome you to join us every Thursday from June 8–August 24 from 8–9 am for a relaxing morning of stretching, breathing, meditation, and mindfulness. This “Yoga for All” class, taught by Latreca Ali, is designed for every age and skill set. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and skill set.
Enjoy the brilliance of Christian Sampson’s Tempus volat, hora fugit, as you move through a mindful yoga flow in the beautiful MFA Conservatory. The title of this four-part installation series translates from Latin to “time flies, hours flee.” This immersive artwork addresses the passage of time and the magnitude of our natural world through the seemingly simple means of light and color. One may find themselves following rays of sunlight in ways they never have before, contemplating the very turning of the earth’s axis. This luminous art installation provides the perfect backdrop for a restorative and enlightening yoga practice.
Bring a mat or towel. Participants must sign a waiver to participate. Please plan to arrive early as the class will begin promptly at 8 am. Space is limited, so sign-up early to guarantee your spot!
