If you’re searching for a way to give back, the Catalyst’s Impact Connector is here to help. Each week, we feature five organizations in the Tampa Bay area that need your input, whether that’s time, talent, items, funding or simply awareness. We’re certain you’ll find something here that matches your interests and will positively impact the community.

Edge District Quarterly Clean Up

The EDGE Business District Association will host its Quarterly District Cleanup on Saturday, March 29, from 8 to 10 a.m. Volunteers will meet in front of Flagship Bank at 965 Central Ave. for check-in, instructions, equipment distribution, and light refreshments before splitting into teams to clean up the neighborhood. The event is open to anyone willing to lend a hand, even if only for part of the two-hour cleanup. Organizers ask attendees to RSVP in advance to ensure enough supplies – and snacks – are available.

Grand Family Unity Day

Grand Family Unity Day will be held Saturday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Campbell Park in St. Petersburg, offering a day of appreciation and support for grandparents, extended family members and non-relatives raising children. The free event will feature live music, performances, food, giveaways, health screenings, children’s haircuts, family-friendly activities and access to valuable community resources.
