Ready for Life Suncoast Ladies’ Classic Tournament
Volunteers are needed for the Suncoast Ladies’ Classic Fishing Tournament benefitting Ready for Life, July 24-26 at the SkyBeach Resort, 6800 Sunshine Skyway Lane S., St. Petersburg.
Ready for Life of Pinellas and Pasco counties is dedicated to supporting former foster care youth in homelessness prevention, education and employment.
Volunteers are needed to help with registration, auction baskets, 50/50 opportunity drawings and cornhole tournament night activities. One meal per shift, water and free parking will be provided.

Clearwater Library Pet Supply Donation Drive
The Clearwater Public Library System is hosting their annual Pet Supply Drive to benefit the Suncoast Animal League through July 31.
Pet items, such as food, leashes and bedding, can be dropped off at any Clearwater Library branch. All donations are tax deductible.
Suncoast Animal League also seeks volunteers to help with office assistance, dog and cat care, fostering, helping with events and working at the thrift shop. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day
Visit your local Dairy Queen July 31 when $1 or more from the purchase of every Blizzard Treat will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg will be the recipient of donations from participating locations in Citrus, De Soto, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota counties.
Dinner and Duds for the Homeless
Dinner and Duds for the Homeless provides hot meals, clean clothing and toiletries to those in need in Pinellas County.
Every Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m., dinner is served in the picnic area of 100 Mirror Lake Drive and then at Unity Park, 4th Avenue N. and 12th Street. Volunteers help serve food and pass out toiletries and clothing. Cash donations, as well as food, clothing, bedding, toiletries and first aid supplies are needed as well.

Pinellas Education Foundation – Take Stock in Children
The Pinellas Education Foundation needs caring and compassionate volunteer mentors to support students in grades 6 through 12. Volunteers act as role models and trusted advisors, empowering students to navigate school, build confidence and set meaningful goals.
Mentoring requires just 30 minutes per session, twice a month, during the student’s school lunch break.
