Join the team at the Marketplace at Bardmoor
BayCare’s Marketplace at Bardmoor, located inside the BayCare HealthHub at 8787 Bryan Dairy Road, Largo, specializes in brands such as YETI, Vera Bradley, Tyler Candles, Ronaldo jewelry, Natural Life and more.
The Marketplace is seeking energetic, friendly and service-oriented volunteers to work at least one four-hour shift once a week.
Volunteers assist customers, keep the shelves stocked and other tasks as needed. Available shifts are 8 a.m. until noon and noon until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Volunteers must be 18 and older, attend an orientation and agree to a background check.

Volunteer or walk for the Superhero Fun Walk
The Bleeding Disorders Foundation of Florida is hosting a 2026 Superhero Fun Walk on Saturday, Sept. 26 beginning at 9 a.m. at Vinoy Park. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help pay for camp tuitions, scholarships, emergency financial assistance, educational programs and more.
Volunteers are needed to help set up and break down, work at booths and pick up trash. Hours are from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk commences at 10 a.m. Volunteers must be ages 13 or older.
Anyone wishing to participate in the walk can do so for free, however, donations are encouraged. Participants who raise $25 or more will receive a special walk T-shirt and be eligible for prizes and awards.
Vinoy Park is located at 701 Bayshore Drive NE, St. Petersburg.

Seeking volunteers for community wellness event
Volunteers are needed for “Treasure Your Health,” a free community wellness event taking place Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Lealman Exchange.
The event will connect attendees with health, wellness and community resources. They will be given a tote bag and a treasure map to guide them through the various organizations and activities available during the event, including health screenings, CPR demonstrations, recipe tastings and cardio drumming classes.
Volunteers will help to welcome and direct guests, support event activities and community partners and provide general assistance where needed.

USCGC Blackthorn Memorial cleanup
Keep Pinellas Beautiful, in partnership with Remora, Seaworthy Collective, St. Pete Eco Club and other local organizations, is hosting a cleanup at the Blackthorn Memorial Park on Saturday, Sept. 26 as part of the International Coastal Cleanup 2026.
This annual event, running through the end of October, brings together volunteers in coastal regions to collect, count and document the trash they find. The Ocean Conservancy then uses this data to study marine debris and releases a yearly report detailing the most common types of trash found in coastal areas, the total weight of trash collected and more.
Volunteers are needed to assist with cleaning the mangroves and shoreline around the Blackthorn Memorial. The cleanup will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
Closed toe shoes are required and weather appropriate clothing and sunscreen are recommended. All cleanup supplies will be provided and a water refill station will be available.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must be signed in by a parent or guardian and anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The USCGC Blackthorn Memorial is located at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge north rest stop. Free parking is available onsite.

Volunteer with the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center
Located in Safety Harbor, the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center’s mission is to nurture and strengthen children, youth, adults and families through education, support services and collaborative partnerships.
The Center offers after-school childcare programs, a food pantry, a clothing closet and other services. It also welcomes food and clothing donations every Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to accept and sort through donations, assist families and individuals with selecting food and clothing items, work at the front desk and help out at special events.
The Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center is located at 1003 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street N., Safety Harbor.
