DeliverHealth, a global provider of technology-enabled solutions for the health care sector, has relocated its HQ operations to Clearwater.

The tech firm, established in 2021 in Madison, Wisconsin, announced this week it has opened its new HQ and what it calls its Customer Experience Center inside a 10,000-square-foot building.

DeliverHealth selected Florida as its HQ and the home of the CXC due to the area’s “booming tech scene and ample access to resources and talent,” according to the company’s news release. More than 24 employees will work out of the CXC, including team members and executives in the sales, marketing development and customer success departments.

“As our nation further moves into the endemic phase of Covid-19, we are thrilled to open the CXC and our new HQ, better enabling us to offer a one-of-a-kind experience allowing for increased collaboration and innovation among our team and customers,” DeliverHealth CEO Michael Clark said in a statement. “We know that one of the biggest barriers to technology innovation and adoption in healthcare is implementation and optimization. Thus, the center will enable us to be more hands-on with our customers’ partners and prospects, offering them greater support and engagement as they seek to not only learn more about our platform offerings, but as we collectively aim to solve greater industry and market challenges.”

The new multi-purpose facility will also be used to host industry thought leadership discussions and events. The official opening date for the Clearwater center is June 15. Over time, the company will hire additional employees.

The decision to relocate the firm comes after a series of recent accomplishments. In March, the company unveiled the DeliverHealth Platform, which offers a suite of software and services to improve documentation, coding and revenue integrity, and digital health capabilities – allowing hospitals and health systems to benefit from a single framework that allows users to capture data once and use it many times to reduce re-work that complicates healthcare.

DeliverHealth also acquired PresidioHealth. The company said it would improve coding quality, production and physician documentation, and accelerate the reimbursement cycle for multi-specialty physician groups, hospitals, free-standing emergency departments and urgent care centers.

DeliverHealth is one of many companies that have relocated or established HQs in Tampa Bay, such as ARK Invest, which relocated from New York to St. Petersburg.
