Two Clearwater Beach properties formerly owned by the late wresting legend Terry Gene Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan), including his main residence at 1040 Eldorado Avenue and an adjacent bungalow at 1038 Eldorado Avenue, sold Oct. 23 for $5.9 million and $2.8 million, respectively.
The buyers, Naseem and Michael Hollander, are the owners of Tampa’s Weather Tite Windows, a nationally recognized window replacement company that focuses on single-family homes and high-rise condominium buildings.
The 1040 Eldorado Avenue property was first listed in late January for $10.99 million, then dropped to $9 million in April, $7.9 million in June and then a final list price of $6.9 million in September.
Built in 2009, the three-story structure is situated on a 0.14-parcel of land directly on the Gulf of Mexico. It features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half-baths across 5,400 square feet of living space.
Interior highlights include marble and natural stone floors, a designer kitchen with solid wood cabinets and state-of-the-art appliances, a 1,000-square-foot primary suite with a sitting area and a Gulf‑front terrace, and an elevator servicing all three levels.
Two garages and a large open utility space are on the ground level. In the back of the home is an expansive covered entertainment area and a heated pool and spa overlooking the Gulf.
Bollea and his wife purchased the property in 2012 for $3.33 million.
The one-story waterfront guest cottage located next door at 1038 Eldorado Avenue was first listed in late March for $4.5 million and incrementally decreased to $3.5 million in early September. Built in 1947, it sits on a 0.16-acre lot and features three bedrooms and three bathrooms across 2,062 square feet of living space.
Inside is an open floor plan with hardwood floors and exposed wooden beams. The living room offers a white brick fireplace, floor to ceiling windows and French doors that lead outside. The kitchen is equipped with white cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, custom lighting and a large center island.
The primary bedroom features an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower and custom tile work. Two additional bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath with dual vanities.
