What do you do?
We work with organizations to help disrupt old legacy cybersecurity technologies that limit the way companies operate. Companies today want a better culture and to operate more efficiently, all the while staying competitive in their industries.
As a cybersecurity firm that focuses on supporting our clients’ digital transformation journey, we engage and step in to provide the best partner and client experience to help them with building zero trust architecture, cloud first strategies and making sure their cybersecurity tools are adopted fully and successfully.
From providing Virtual CISO services, SOC services, shifting data to the cloud into AWS and Azure, retiring your data center footprint and providing end-to-end leading innovative cybersecurity tools and strategies, we are there every step of the way to fulfill our clients’ journey into the digital era.
Why do you do it?
We want to transform the employee experience! It’s our duty in life to help others and protect others from what they don’t know. Our team loves educating our community and other organizations about cyber crime and enabling their journey to the cloud. We believe that organizations that have a solid foundation for network and security can excel in their business by providing their employees and clients the safety and protection that they deserve.
What was your Catalyst? (How did you get started?)
After working more than 11 years in the technology space with a number of Fortune 500 companies, I recognized a need to help other organizations with their journey to digital transformation – companies that realize that a cloud first strategy is what is necessary to be agile, more efficient and operate better than their competition. I was fortunate and blessed to experience the best of the best in the technology space. Being exposed to Fortune 500 companies who are innovators in the their space that developed an amazing culture, process and structure with leading tools and technologies. With this type of exposure, I wanted to create the same foundation for companies that wanted to take a leap into the digital era. The only way to create this new business model for others is to provide a solid foundation for companies and that foundation starts with a solid cybersecurity posture.
What’s a common misconception or unknown aspect of what you do?
The most common misconception is that we are just a fulfillment reseller, which is furthest from the truth.
We are a true partner for our clients, providing end-to-end cybersecurity services to our clients and supporting their digital transformation journey to the cloud.
What’s the most challenging part of your Hustle?
Companies today are not aware that cybersecurity is a layered approach. There is not one tool in today’s market that will will protect an organization from cyber crime. It takes many different strategies and tools to minimize risk within an organization.
In addition, many tools in the cybersecurity industry don’t integrate or complement each other, and if the client is not aware of these issues, it can conflict in the adoption of these tools. That is why you need a partner to teach, advise and support a solid cybersecurity foundation and posture.
What’s the most valuable piece of business advice/insight that’s helped you?
Life is about the journey and not about the end destination. We stay positive and surround our team with mentors and advisors that believe in what we do. That is why we have come along so far in such a short time. We are truly blessed and grateful for the growth of Ascension Global Technology.
