Formerly an engineer, Carrie Jadus now lives her dream as a professional artist. Jadus' impressionist techniques lend themselves to subjective interpretations of her work. Jadus is both a painter and a narrator, telling stories in her paintings about the physical world, and the truths, both harsh and beautiful that it contains. Jadus paints St. Petersburg cityscapes, commissioned portraits, murals and posters. She works with pastels, oils, charcoal and other media to create images that romantically and dramatically visualize the beauty of the city, nature, the human form and other subjects.
