Introducing the Leadership St. Pete Class of 2021
Representing a diverse group of business, nonprofit and community leaders, Leadership St. Pete announced its 2021 class Wednesday.
A division of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Leadership St. Pete was created to identify, recruit and develop leaders who represent the diversity of the community and who will assume future leadership roles in the chamber and other community organizations.
“This year’s class is a personally and professionally diverse group of 40 incredible and enlightening business and community leaders who are passionate about gaining knowledge of St. Petersburg, our Sunshine City, and are committed to making a difference where they live, work, and play,” said class chair Lucinda Grant. “During this season of change, they have dedicated themselves to the growth of our city, their own professional development, and making an equitable difference in this community. I am excited to be part of their LSP experience.”
This class, Leadership St. Pete’s 51st, will work together for six months beginning in January and participate in 11 educational seminars and four retreats aimed at promoting and enhancing community leadership. The class will also take on a civic engagement and physical facility improvement project.
