“The best way to serve your community is to have a really good radio station.” Those words from a boss early in Joe Bourdow’s career are something he has lived by in retirement. Bourdow joined us in the Catalyst studio to talk about his “labor of love” – Radio St. Pete. Coming full circle from his local radio roots, Bourdow has seen the industry evolve markedly through the last 40 years. He talks the state of local radio in St. Pete, how Radio St. Pete has become the home base for various local podcasts, and upgrading technology to serve the community better.
