I grew up in the neighborhood when it was called “The Magnolia Estates”, which was developed in the 30’s. Went to the adjacent school “South Ward Elementary”. The community was mostly Jewish at the time, and in the 80’s many properties were occupied by entrepreneurs. It saddened me greatly when Scientology took over the historic Jack Tar Harrison Hotel, which once had such guests the The Rolling Stones.

Sold the roofing materials on this remodel for Nigel Mansel. Albritton Roofing did the roof. Was quite the project back on the day.
