Since 1922, 22squared has grown into and established itself as a truly elite, full-service advertising agency.

In 1922, James Greene founded the agency now known as 22squared. In 1938, Greene sold it to Tucker Wayne, who renamed the agency Tucker Wayne & Company. In the countless decades since, the agency underwent several more rebrandings before assuming its current name in 2007. These days, with offices in both Tampa and Atlanta, 22squared is an advertising behemoth, with a roster of Fortune 500 clients from a potpourri of industries. Aside from its work, 22squared distinguishes itself from its peers by way of an employee-focused culture in which the company is owned entirely by employees.

Richard is the guiding light behind 22squared. Since joining as President & CEO in 2006, he has led the agency on a growth juggernaut, tripling in size and growing clients, employees, service offerings and revenue. Richard has driven the fiercely independent agency to one of the top in the nation, with a blend of startup passion and innovation ethos. Prior to joining 22squared, he served as Managing Director of FCB/San Francisco, helped launch the Internet startup search company Infoseek, worked on the team that ushered in an era of explosive growth at AOL and managed global business development as a consultant for eBay. Richard’s unique ability to cultivate talent, culture and creative, makes him unique among today’s breed of visionary leaders.
