Priatek uses “gamification” as an advertising strategy for local and national businesses.
This unique method is called “in2win,” which promotes businesses by giving out prizes to people who engage with gaming kiosks in public places, such as malls, shopping plazas or movie theaters. People can play a game for free and then automatically win prizes from different advertisers in the system. Upon completing the game, players receive a coupon or certificate that can be presented at a particular location – a restaurant or shop, for example – and in turn advertisers receive new attention and there’s a potential for repeat customers. The kiosks also collect demographic information from players, helping advertisers target audiences who are interested in their business.

Founder
In the late '90s, Milind Bharvirkar discovered the fun of gamification and eventually launched his own games as an advertising strategy. After establishing valuable relationships with gaming and computer companies, Bharvirkar established Priatek, which allows people to play games for prizes. Bharvirkar describes this as a "win-win strategy" - customers receive deals and save on products, and advertisers gain recognition and business.
