The STANO Foundation supports our troops by sending out care packages to military members in need.
Founder, president and military mom Paula Stano noticed that our Marines did not have the things they needed upon graduating bootcamp. In order to ensure a smooth transition into their next step, Stano reached out to individuals through Facebook and sought out donations for young men and women in the military. She received overwhelming support and an impressive amount of items, and has been assembling care packages ever since. The foundation’s goal is to make each package with love and support, so they provide basic, everyday items we typically take for granted – shampoo, toothpaste, floss and deodorant. Care packages can also include other enjoyable items, such as playing cards, headphones or snacks.
