After 20 years in business, the owner of Janet’s Antiques, 2545 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, is retiring and selling the 5,450-square-foot property for $2.3 million.

Built in 1925, the one-story structure sits on a 0.16-acre lot in the city’s Grand Central District and provides 70 feet of frontage on Central Avenue.

Janet’s Antiques offers a mix of antiques and collectible items sold by multiple vendors on short-term agreements.

With a loyal customer base and steady foot traffic, continuation of the business offers a turnkey opportunity with vendor flexibility and an established income stream for the new owner.

The property includes an outdoor courtyard in back and parking for two vehicles.

Owner Janet Howe purchased the property in 2005 for $450,000. She is represented by J. Mark Stroud with The Stroud Corporation.

Tarpon Springs home on 90-acre peninsula lists

A two-story home situated on a 0.47-acre private conservation lot within a 90-acre peninsula off the coast of Tarpon Springs has listed for $1.3 million.

Built in 2005, the 8,330 gross square-foot property is located at 2101 N. Pointe Alexis Drive, just a few miles from downtown’s restaurants and sponge docks.

Concrete stairs lead to a gallery-style entryway and an open floor plan with natural light streaming through.  A gourmet kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, an oversized prep island, custom maple cabinetry and a professional-grade gas range.

The residence provides four bedrooms and four bathrooms, including a primary suite with matching closet systems and an ensuite bath with a Jacuzzi bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. A family room and a dedicated office are also on this floor.

Big Storm Brewing Co. bankruptcy sale

Clearwater’s Big Storm Brewing Co. was first listed for sale in July for an unknown amount following the arrest of former owner and Clearwater businessman Leo Joseph Govoni, who lost this and over 100 other properties to a federal bankruptcy court in early June.

Located at 12707 49th Street N., the brewery and land are now being offered through a bankruptcy sale for $7.5 million, a number that, according to the listing, is below the replacement cost.

The 50,490 square-foot turn-key facility, situated on a 3.58 corner lot, is spread across two structures built between 1972 and 2006.

The 20,051-square-foot brewery and taproom is equipped with a full commercial kitchen, canopy bar and a 2,000-square-foot walk-in cooler and cold storage area.

The adjoining 30,439-square-foot office and warehouse features 16’ to 27’ clear heights, dock-high and grade-level loading, private offices and open work areas.

Outside is 3,978 square feet of covered patio seating, an outdoor bar and restroom and surface parking with 123 spaces.

The property was renovated in 2015 and 2020. Included with the sale are all furniture, fixtures, equipment and licenses.

Govoni, under the registered name Big Storm Real Estate, LLC, purchased the property in 2016 for $2.4 million. The listing is provided by James Defusto, Darpan Patel and Dan Yozwiak with Marcus & Millichap – The Patel Yozwiak Group.

Safety Harbor home sells prior to auction

A six-bedroom, four-bathroom waterfront Safety Harbor estate, listed in September and scheduled for auction on Oct. 11 with a minimum opening bid of $2 million, was purchased and closed Oct. 8 for $2.7 million.

Located at 1100 S. Bayshore Boulevard, the home was built in 1988 and features 3,958 square feet of living space across three stories.

The 2,339-square-foot main level features a custom eat-in kitchen, living room and dining area – all with views of Tampa Bay, five bedrooms and three full baths. Above the primary bedroom is a 976-square-foot private retreat with 360-degree views.

The lower level provides 2,304 square feet of garage space and a 643-square-foot detached guest house with a large living room, one bedroom and one full bath.

Outdoors is extensive decking, a large pool and spa and a private boat dock and lift that can accommodate a 25-foot boat, Jet Skis and more.

The .045-acre parcel is completely fenced-in and access is gained through a private electric gate.

The prior owner purchased the property in 2003 for $995,000. The listing was care of Vincent Gepp with Coldwell Banker Realty. Colin O’Neil with Charles Rutenberg Realty represented the buyer.

33-unit, three-parcel portfolio lists

 A 33-unit multifamily portfolio across three parcels within a half-mile radius has listed for a combined price of $3.62 million. The properties, located in St. Petersburg, are also for sale individually.

Parcel 1, The Bungalows on 50th at 2595 50th Avenue N., is a 12-unit property with 6,707 gross square feet across nine one-story structures built in 1955 and 1958.  Situated on the 0.57 acre of land are a single-family home with 1,560 square feet, three 720-square-foot duplexes with two units each and five 400-square-foot single bungalows. The property is individually priced at $1.32 million.

Parcel 2, Crissman Drive Apartments at 5633 Crissman Drive N., is an eight-unit property across two buildings. Structure 1 is a 720-heated-square-foot single-family home built in 1945. Structure 2, built in 1979, is a one-story, 3,024-heated-square-foot building with seven living units. The two structures sit on a 0.53-acre plot of land. This property is priced at $975,000.

Parcel 3, Sun Cove Apartments at 5680 28th Street N., is a 13-unit property built in 1941 and 1948 comprising three 748-square-foot duplex structures with two units each and seven single-family mobile homes. The 0.69-acre property sits adjacent to Parcel 2. It can be purchased separately for $1.43 million.

All three parcels are situated in non-flood zones and within 10 minutes of downtown St. Petersburg.

The seller purchased Parcel 1 in 2017 for $472,500 and Parcels 2 and 3 in 2006 for $818,000. Phil Ginexi and Kyle Keelan with The Multifamily Firm are the listing agents.

Clearwater two-story corporate office for sale

A two-story 11,328-square-foot property built in 1974 and transformed into a modern corporate office space, at 18401 US Highway 19 N., Clearwater, has entered the market for $3.3 million.

Situated on a 0.64-acre lot, the building offers a mix of private offices upstairs and a stand-alone mezzanine office that overlooks the open workspace on the first level. An elevator provides access between the two floors.

The property, which faces west towards US 19 N, offers building signage with potential visibility to more than 80,000 cars daily. Outside are 28 parking spaces and the rooftop has its own helipad frame.

The seller, a Clearwater realtor, purchased the property under the registered name The Vault Project, LLC in 2020 for $1.25 million and invested almost $500,000 in upgrades and improvements.
