Earlier this month, Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant, located at 10400 49th Street N., Pinellas Park, announced that after 23 years in business, it was closing its doors on July 5. The property has now officially entered the market for an unknown asking price.

The free-standing structure, built in 2003, features 14,082 gross square feet across two floors, with approximately 9,882 square feet of restaurant space on the ground level.

The 4.76-acre lot provides 200 surface parking spaces, a signalized intersection and 512 feet of frontage on 49th Street N. With Commercial General zoning, the property can continue operating as a restaurant, be redeveloped or subdivided for an additional user.

The asset’s location is in close proximity to major corridors, including I-275 and US-19, has a population of over 200,000 within a five-mile radius, and sees over 30,000 vehicles per day.

The property was first purchased in 2003 by William Church for $1.4 million. It was then acquired by its current owner, JDK Management (JDK), in 2010 for $1.71 million. JDK owns and operates a large portfolio of restaurants, hotels and businesses throughout the United States.

1928 Euclid Saint Paul’s home for sale

A Spanish/Mediterranean residence built in 1928 at 1125 11th Avenue N., in the Euclid Saint Paul’s neighborhood of St. Petersburg, has listed for sale with an asking price of $1.28 million.

The two-story home, situated on a fenced-in 0.17-acre corner lot,  provides three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and one half-bath.

The 1,176-square-foot first floor features an entryway with mosaic terracotta-style flooring, a light-filled open living area with a wood-burning fireplace, a formal dining room and original hardwood flooring throughout. The chef’s kitchen, recently updated, is equipped with Monogram, Bosch and Dacor appliances. A bonus room, laundry room and powder room are also on this level.

All three bedrooms are located on the 952-square-foot upper floor. The expansive primary suite offers two separate closet spaces and an ensuite bath. The two guest bedrooms share the second full bathroom.

Outdoors are multiple living areas, including a covered lounging and entertaining area and an open-air patio surrounding the inground saltwater pool. A 440-square-foot one-car garage is attached to the home.

Dunedin’s Granada Plaza acquired

Benderson Development, one of the largest privately held real estate companies in the nation, closed June 17 on the purchase of Granada Plaza, an 80,613 heated square-foot Publix-anchored retail center at 1495 Main Street, Dunedin, for $17.5 million.

With corporate headquarters in University Park, Florida, Benderson owns a portfolio of over 1,000 properties nationwide, including the acquisition last December of Clearwater Shoppes, a 216,692 square-foot shopping center at 2435 State Road 580, Clearwater, for $28.5 million.

The three-building property is situated on a 6.91-acre parcel of land, and includes two, two-story structures, one built in 1985 and the other in 2003; and one, one-story structure built in 2003. It is positioned at a signalized intersection on the corner of Main Street and Keene Road, and is located 1.5 miles east of Countryside Mall.

Publix occupies the largest space with 44,840 square feet. Other units range in size from 483 to 6,745 square feet. Additional tenants include DaVita Kidney Care, Optum Care, Firehouse Subs, St. Pete Bagel, Bark Suds and T-Mobile.

The seller, CTO Realty Growth, Inc., based in Daytona Beach, purchased the property in 2024 for $16.75 million.

Venetian Isles estate sells

Following 487 days on the market, a three-story, 6,187-square-foot estate at 2081 Michigan Avenue NE, in the Venetian Isles neighborhood of St. Petersburg, sold June 22 for $5.3 million. The initial asking price in February 2025 was $6.8 million.

Built in 2025 by Tide Homes, the canal-front residence, situated on a 0.20-acre plot of land, features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half-bath.

The 3,362-square-foot main floor offers 22-foot-high ceilings, a temperature-controlled wine cellar with a 480-bottle capacity, expansive windows and sliding glass doors, a chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances, and a butler’s pantry with stone countertops and a separate refrigerator, sink and dishwasher.

The primary suite is located behind French doors on the 2,825-square-foot upper level. It provides two custom walk-in closets and a spa-like bathroom with separate sinks, a dedicated makeup station, a soaking tub and a private water closet. Also upstairs is a flexible entertainment space with a built-in wet bar with a wine fridge, custom cabinetry, stone countertops and recessed LED lighting.

On the ground floor is a 1,782-square-foot garage and an elevator that provides access to all three levels.

Outdoors is 2,000 square feet of covered space with a TV wall, stone accents and recessed lighting; a heated pool; a fully-equipped kitchen; and 96 feet of salt-water canal waterfrontage.

The seller, under the registered name 2081 Michigan Ave. NE, LLC, purchased the property in 2021 for $1.1 million. Alex Malagon was the seller’s agent and Carolyn Gomez was the buyer’s agent – both with Re/Max Action First of Florida.

Gulfport multifamily for sale

A multifamily property at 3101 Beach Boulevard S., Gulfport has listed for $1.48 million.

The one-story structure, built in 1958, provides five units across 2,634 square feet of living space. All of the residences feature an open floorplan with a family room, kitchen, one bedroom and one full bathroom. Seven parking spaces are available onsite.

Recent renovations include updated vinyl plank flooring, kitchens and bathrooms; new fixtures; and electrical and HVAC upgrades.

The 0.11-acre parcel is steps away from Gulfport Beach and Boca Ciega Bay, a short stroll to the Tuesday Fresh Market, and surrounded by restaurants, art galleries, fishing and other activities.

The seller, Cavallino Development, LLC, based in Odessa, Florida, purchased the property in 2025 for $965,000. It is listed by Ray Mihara with Mihara & Associates, Inc.

Pasadena office building lists

A single-tenant professional office building at 130 Pinellas Way N., St. Petersburg has recently listed for $1.1 million. The one-story, 3,241-square-foot structure was built in 1960 and is suitable for a single tenant.

Inside is a large reception area with room for three work stations, three executive offices, four smaller private offices, a conference room, kitchen, two bathrooms (one with a shower), three storage rooms and dedicated server rooms.

The 0.34-acre lot, located a few blocks off of Central Avenue, provides six parking spaces in the front of the building and nine in back. Landscaping includes elderberry and jackfruit plants and an irrigation system with a well pump.

The seller and owner of Taunton Metals, Inc. purchased the property in 2001 for $250,000. Davis Nunneley with Bridgewater Commercial Real Estate is the listing agent.
