The Sunny Side Up Speaker Series continues to bring the community to the table to serve up smart conversations around technology and innovation in St. Petersburg. While previous topics ranged from autonomous vehicles to Smart Cities, to healthcare, on Wednesday the Sunny Side Up Series will re-imagine data with some of St. Petersburg’s best and brightest data science experts.

Candy Mitchell, Director of Data Science and AI at Jabil, and Senior VP of Data Solutions Group at FIS Tara Bonnell joined Joe Hamilton in the studio to preview the discussion and dig into the importance of data for Fortune 500 companies and local businesses alike. Mitchell and Bonnell share how Jabil and FIS use data in their day-to-day business and how they’re integrating business operations and data science at their respective companies. Launched through a partnership between the University of South Florida St. Petersburg’s Kate Tiedemann College of Business and the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership, Sunny Side Up began in February. The twice-quarterly series provides an opportunity to bring the community into the university and invite them to re-imagine St. Petersburg’s future.

Join USFSP and the Downtown Partnership Wednesday Sept. 25 at 7:30 a.m. at the Kate Tiedemann College of Business in Lynn Pippenger Hall. Register here.
