Rectangle Health opens office in St. Petersburg
The facility will serve as a sales hub.

A New York-based healthcare payments and technology solutions company is expanding its operations to St. Petersburg.
Rectangle Health leaders have opened a new office in the Gateway area, at 100 Fountain Parkway N., it was announced today.
The 12,500-square-foot facility will serve as a sales hub.
“We had looked around the country just trying to find areas where we saw a good talent pool and a community that we felt that we could really become a part of,” said Rectangle Health chief business officer Scott LoPresti. “St. Pete’s population seems to be younger and very interested in job growth.”
Rectangle Health also has a partnership with healthcare payment company Zelis, which has a presence in St. Petersburg. Choosing a location with the same time zone was also essential, he added.
The office is currently home to over 40 employees, LoPresti said. They began to work at the facility within the past few weeks. Rectangle Health has been recruiting local individuals since the beginning of the year.
He explained that the company plans to continue to scale its sales force. The facility has a capacity for approximately 100 team members.
It is used primarily by sales development representatives, who set appointments, and practice solutions consultants, who work directly with small to medium sized healthcare practices.
Previously, Rectangle Health had a second office in Las Vegas. Eventually, company leadership decided to close it and expand to another location.
LoPresti said that the St. Petersburg facility was initially targeted to open in February. It took some time to “get everything built out.”
Founded in 1993, Rectangle Health supports a variety of healthcare organizations. These include dental, chiropractic, vision and physical therapy practices. Additionally, its platforms are used by larger health systems.
Currently, the company works with more than 36,000 healthcare providers. Approximately 160,000 software users utilize the organization’s solutions.
Rectangle Health’s products include the Practice Management Bridge software, which is a payments, compliance and engagement platform. The organization has also developed PayerSync, which automates virtual payer payments through a one-click posting system.
Company executives plan to host business gatherings in St. Petersburg, he added. Some dental healthcare events are already scheduled.
A ribbon cutting for the new office will be held June 8 at 10 a.m. St. Petersburg Mayor Ken Welch and St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce representatives will attend.
