We’re a decade into St. Pete’s renaissance. So what lies on the other side of St. Pete’s potential? In our series, St. Pete 2.0, we’re exploring elevating St. Pete to the ‘next level’. We’re asking business and civic leaders for their vision of what it means to realize our potential as a city. We’re exploring what we have to do to get there.

It’s clear that St. Petersburg values inclusivity. For St. Pete’s efforts to date, the Human Rights Campaign rates our community a perfect 100.  Despite the strong rating, local organizations are still working hard to educate and empower our citizens so that everyone can be included in our success.  

Why is inclusivity important?  What role does it play in St Pete 2.0?  Equality Florida‘s Nadine Smith has been working at the forefront of LGBTQ initiatives.  She stops by the Catalyst studio to share her wisdom and her vision for how St Pete can be a place where everyone is included and valued – and why that prospect is a necessity for us to move to the next tier as a city.   Click the arrow below to listen.
