The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated 121 years Thursday evening as a healthy and cancer-free President and CEO Chris Steinocher spoke to members about the brights spots of 2019, and welcomed new leadership for 2020.
Steinocher, who shared his prostate cancer diagnosis in an audio interview with St. Pete Catalyst in August, underwent successful surgery in September and was cancer-free at his recent 90-day checkup. The well-known community leader took a month fully removed from the spotlight, and has slowly returned to his duties at the Chamber during his recovery.
