Takin’ it to the streets: St. Pete food truck festival tonight

More than 20 food trucks will park ‘n’ serve today as part of the second annual St. Pete Street Food and Craft Beer Festival at Albert Whitted Park, 107 8th Ave. SE.

The event combines “street food” from local vendors with a wide selection of craft beer from 16 breweries, including St. Petersburg’s Green Bench and 3 Daughters, and crafters from Palm Harbor, Tampa, Bradenton and various cities from around the country.

Admission to the 6-11 p.m. event is free; children and pets are welcome, and blankets are lawn chairs are encouraged.

It’s a co-sponsorship between the Gulf to Bay Food Truck Association and the City of St. Petersburg.

Scheduled to be on site: Smokin Bowls, The Cheesesteak Truck, The Melt Machine Food Truck, Fiesta Bowls, Mr. C’s Grilled Cheese, Casablanca Fusion, Kebablicious, Anju Korean Gastrotruck, Ramen & Waffles, PB & Jelly Deli, Ikigai Sushi Bowls and Wraps, St. Pete Taco Lady, Better Than Eve’s BBQ, Surf and Turf Truck FL, Flip’n Tasty Filipino Food Truck, Rubbed & Pulled BBQ, The Bacon Boss Food Truck, Sexton’s Pizza.
