Tiger Bay Club to host mayors’ State of the Bay forum Thursday

Thursday (Jan. 14)  at noon, The Suncoast Tiger Bay Club will hold a virtual State of the Bay forum featuring Clearwater mayor Frank Hibbard, Tampa mayor Jane Castor and St. Petersburg mayor Rick Kriseman.

During the forum, which is held annually, the mayors will discuss current issues facing the Tampa Bay community. Likely topics include Covid-19, vaccinations, systemic racism and growth and development. During the event, participants will have the opportunity to submit questions for the mayors to answer. 

The event is free of charge for Tiger Bay members and $5 for non-members, though organizers encourage donating the $25 price of the regular lunch meeting. Money raised goes to support continuing programming and support for the Young Tigers Scholarship Program.
