‘Women changemakers’ in the arts talk Wednesday

Seven prominent women from St. Petersburg’s arts community will come together Wednesday for a panel discussion.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, “Women Changemakers in the Arts” will be moderated by Leigh Davis, Director of Donor and Advisor Relations with Pinellas Community Foundation, at the Tully-Levine Gallery, inside the Warehouse Arts District’s Arts Xchange building on the Deuces Corridor.

Participants are Maureen McDole, founder and executive director of Keep St. Pete Lit; Barbara St. Clair, CEO of Creative Pinellas; Terri Lipsey Scott, director of the Carter G. Woodson African American Museum; Bula Barua, owner of Bula Barua Gallery; Katie Deits, CEO of Florida CraftArt; Liz Dimmitt, CEO and co-founder of Fairgrounds St. Pete; and Jake-ann Jones, co-founder of the Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project.

The 6:30-8 p.m. event is free for Warehouse Arts District Association members, and $20 for the general public. Registration is required here.
