St. Petersburg-based Paradise Advertising and Marketing Inc. is in the midst of a growth spurt that has seen its roster of clients and projects expand, along with its employee headcount.

The full-service ad agency, which also has an office in Jacksonville, has completed integrated marketing and single-project campaigns for longtime client Visit Savannah, as well as destination marketing organizations in Louisiana, Arkansas and northeast Florida.

The activity, according to a news release, has prompted Paradise to bolster its staff to 10 in Jacksonville.

The biggest coup has been a contract to promote the $271 million expansion of the Savannah Convention Center, scheduled for completion in 2023. The project will double the facility’s exhibit hall space to 200,000 square feet and add a 40,000-square-foot ballroom and more than a dozen meeting rooms.

In Eureka Springs, Ark., Paradise has expanded its partnership with the Eureka Springs Advertising and Promotions Committee — it will now handle national public relations strategy for the community, for which it developed a new brand identity in 2019. Paradise, in the release, said Eureka Springs’ business growth and rising profile drew the attention of the Northwest Arkansas Tourism Association, which awarded the agency a comprehensive contract for brand, creative, media, social media, digital, website and public relations services.

In Louisiana, the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Visitors Bureau has tapped Paradise to provide branding, creative, media, public relations and social media strategy. New branding campaigns are set to launch in the fall.

“Paradise prides itself on being a partner to our clients with a focus on their business growth,” Paradise Senior Vice President Ruby Webb stated in the release. “We’re thrilled that so many different partners have come to appreciate our data-led, results-focused approach. Our client results prove that our marketing efforts yield faster and sustainable business growth, higher revenues, greater customer loyalty and long-term brand resonance compared to industry averages or competitor brands and businesses.”

Florida, particularly the northeast region, has also been a major source of client wins for Paradise. The Columbia County Convention and Visitors Bureau hired the agency to provide brand, creative, media, social media and public relations solutions that will boost tourism in the county, which is home to Lake City and the intersection of interstates 10 and 75.

In addition to DMOs, individual businesses in northeast Florida have also partnered with Paradise, which has won more than 500 industry awards since it was founded in 2002.

Brown Fertility, a fertility clinic headquartered in Jacksonville with 11 locations throughout the state, appointed Paradise to develop a new website and lead social media initiatives along with existing services for branding, creative, media and public relations. Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, a luxury resort in Ponte Vedra Beach, expanded its relationship with Paradise, adding social media services to the scope of its contract with the St. Pete agency.

“Regardless of the industry, albeit if we are marketing destinations, advanced reproductive treatments or luxury oceanfront resorts, our goal is to attain tangible, sustainable economic growth for every client,” Paradise co-owner and CEO Barbara Karasek stated in the release.
