Local marketing firm TitleTap is acquired

Tampa-based TitleTap, a nationwide leader in online marketing for title agents and attorneys, has been acquired by ProfitSolv.
TitleTap co-founder and CEO Dean Collura announced the acquisition on LinkedIn, stating, “Together we will be able to create what many have been asking for over the years – a complete business solution made easy.”
TitleTap, founded in 2013 by a former title agent manager, industry consultant and active realtor, initially started with a mobile app to estimate closing costs for title agents. Today, it automates the technology and marketing efforts for members of the Land Title Industry.
Tennessee-based ProfitSolv, which acquired TitleTap for an undisclosed amount, offers a comprehensive suite of software solutions for legal, accounting and other professional services firms. The company’s solutions enable firms to increase their billable time and service revenue, get paid faster, automate invoicing and payments and integrate systems like CRM, according to the news announcement from TitleTap.
TitleTap shared in a post that “ProfitSolv offers many of the solutions our customers ask us for each and every day, plus shares our vision to help professional service companies with everything they need in order to operate their businesses.”
The company said the TitleTap brand will remain intact, and the team will continue providing the same experience but at a “faster pace than we’d be able to do on our own.”
Collura will continue in his role as CEO and Eliot Dill, TitleTap COO, will become the general manager.
TitleTap also noted its recent strides in sharing the acquisition news.
During the pandemic when companies had to pivot to an all-remote business environment, it led to the creation of TitleTap’s marketing hub, which provides customers with solutions to help them get more value from their website by making it easy to integrate tools they already use or need in order to operate their business.
The marketing hub has been “a massive success and has opened up hundreds of conversations with partners and service providers who were seeing the same trends in the industry,” according to the company.
TitleTap highlighted its other successes such as adding industry content for improved search engine rankings, creating new tools to automate how feedback is gathered and testimonials are marketed, and how it naturally branched into the attorney space as many states require an attorney to conduct real estate closings.
