With over 90 feet of Boca Ciega Bay waterfrontage on St. Pete Beach, a 3,181 square-foot home located at 4565 Plaza Way sold Feb. 12 for $3.48 million – 5 percent below the list price. This 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home sits on .27 acres. 

Highlights on the main floor include an open living room with a linear plasma fireplace, built-in bookshelves and custom window treatments; a turret office or library space, a formal dining room with tray ceilings; and a modern kitchen designed with fine custom cabinetry throughout. Also on this level is the primary suite with a remodeled ensuite bathroom and water views in every direction.

The upper level features a second turret office or library space, two bedrooms and a jack-and-jill full bath. There is also an additional 1,000 square feet of air-conditioned space on the terrace level which can be transformed into a home theater, gym or game room.

Outdoors is an oversized 420 square-foot waterfront veranda, a heated saltwater pool with a dedicated lap lane, a new dock with a 20K lift, a workshop and an oversized two-car garage.

Built in 2001, the home was last purchased in 2017 for $1.38 million.

Century-old Woodlawn home for sale

A 4-bedroom, 2-bath craftsman architecture wood-framed home in Woodlawn has listed with a sales price of $950,000. Located at 1245 26th Ave. N., this 2,297 square-foot home was built in 1925 and is situated in one of St. Petersburg’s oldest neighborhoods.

The family area on the lower level highlights the home’s original features, including a black fireplace and mantel, original styled wood floors, ceiling accents and a discreet built-in cabinet. The dining room features a three-window wall on the west side, allowing plenty of natural light and evening sunshine. The updated kitchen includes a six-burner gas range, stone countertops and black stainless-steel appliances. All four bedrooms are located upstairs. A new roof was installed in 2012 and the HVAC was updated in 2022.

The property is situated on a 5,245 square-foot corner lot with no direct neighbors, and is a five-minute walk to Blanc Park. It was last purchased in 2017 for $417,000.

Mixed-use warehouse lists for under $300K

An industrial warehouse located at 4020 8th Ave. S. in St. Petersburg has listed for $299,000. The 1,638 square-foot building has been leased by Oasis Towing & Recovery since March 2022. The lease is set to expire Feb. 29.

The warehouse was built in 1964 and renovated in 2015. The HVAC was updated in 2017 and a new roof was added in 2022.

Sitting on a .14-acre lot, the property features a front office with a full kitchen and half bath. Two garage bays are equipped with a full bathroom.

The property was last purchased in 2015 for $63,000 by DMVW LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company with an address on Snell Isle Blvd. in St. Petersburg.

Brand new Pinellas Park manufacturing building lists

An 86,350+ square-foot building is being developed on one of the last remaining industrial sites within mid-Pinellas County. Located at 9411 Belcher Road N., the property is available for sale (unpriced) or lease, and is expected to be ready for occupancy beginning April 1.

The building sits on a 12.66-acre lot. Features include 30’ ceilings with tilt-wall construction, eight dock-high overhead doors (one with a drive-in ramp), 122 parking spaces, an ESFR sprinkler system, 50-foot by 45-foot column spacing, 52-foot-wide end cap bays, 55-foot-deep speed bays and 1,000 feet of frontage on Belcher Road.

Seven Bedroom Treasure Island home lists

A 7-bedroom, 4-bath home located at 8525 Blind Pass Drive on Treasure Island has listed with a sales price of $2.3 million. The 4,845 square-foot property, built in 1950, is situated in a protective cove known as “Ships Haven.”

On the first floor is the family room, with shiplap and wood-beam ceilings, that opens up to a covered patio and the large backyard. Also on this level are three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a game room. Upstairs are four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a sauna.

The 70-foot-long seawall and dock provides direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico.

The 8,695 square-foot lot is large enough to build a two-family dwelling. And, plumbing and electrical connections between the floors provide the opportunity to remodel and personalize the space.

The property was last purchased in 1987 for $270,000.

Palm Harbor Sonny’s BBQ property sells

A 1.02-acre parcel of land located at 30503 US Hwy 19 N in Palm Harbor sold Feb. 9 for $7.33 million. The property includes a Sonny’s BBQ and Starbucks, both built in 2007 and together totaling 8,659 square feet of building space.

The sale was subject to a 15-year lease with ACG BBQ, LLC of Sunrise, FL, the prior owner of the property and the largest licensed franchisee of Sonny’s BBQ with 29 locations across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The sale also included assumption of the existing Starbucks lease.

The purchaser was 30503 Palm Harbor LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company which filed its Articles of Organization with the State of Florida Division of Corporations Jan. 8, 2024.

ACG BBQ purchased the property in 2022 for $8.6 million. The listing agent was Andrew Jaworski with CBRE Orlando.
