Places This Week: Tierra Verde half-acre estate lists for $7.2 million

A two-story estate with five bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bath at 206 6th Street E., Tierra Verde, is about to hit the market with a list price of $7.2 million.

The residence was completed in 2020 and offers 8,340 gross square feet, including 4,846 square feet of living space, an 897-square-foot three-car garage, and 2,597 square feet of open porch space. It sits on a 0.49 acre of land.

Inside is an open-concept floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors, marble and wood floors, multiple fireplaces, pecky cypress ceilings and waterfront terraces. The chef’s kitchen is equipped with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, gas cooking, solid wood cabinetry, a walk-in pantry and a large island with waterfall edges.

Additional interior highlights include a glass elevator and a wine cellar that can accommodate more than 500 bottles.

The seller, represented by Meltem Birey with 1 Palm Realty, purchased the property in 2021 for $5.26 million.

Portfolio of marina apartments for sale

A 10-unit apartment complex located within The Cove at Loggerhead Marina, at 3157-3198 Nautical Place S. and 3210 Moorings Drive, St. Petersburg, has listed for $4.1 million.

Built in 2016, each of the three-story structures features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half-bath and a one-car attached garage on the lower level. Units range in size from 1,920 to 1,970 square feet of living space.

All of the units are rented with an average price of $3,030 per month. Electricity and cable are paid by the tenants, and water/sewer, trash and pest control are the responsibility of the owner. The buyer can choose to continue leasing the units, offer all of them for sale or a combination of both.

The property is located within the Greater Pinellas Point submarket and is convenient to downtown St. Petersburg, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and Fort De Soto Park.

The seller purchased the individual units between 2015 and 2017 for an average price of approximately $320,000.

Bay Pines new construction for $3 million

A newly constructed 3,983-square-foot residence at 10040 59th Avenue N., in the Bay Pines neighborhood of St. Petersburg, has listed for $3 million. Completed this year, the home sits on 0.53 acres of land.

Indian Rocks Beach property sells above list price

An Indian Rocks Beach waterfront residence that was listed July 30 for $1.68 million closed Sept. 9 for a purchase price of $1.74 million.

Built in 1985, the two-story elevated home, situated on a 0.13-acre lot at 466 20th Avenue, underwent a major renovation In 2023. The 1,660-square-foot main level features a glass double-door entry that leads to an open floor plan with a living room, dining room, a den/family room, a primary suite with an ensuite bathroom, a guest bedroom and an additional full bath.

The kitchen offers waterfall quartz countertops, high-end cabinetry, a gas powered JennAir six-burner cooktop, a double oven and a stainless-steel KitchenAid refrigerator. Off of the kitchen is a utility room with a coffee bar, pantry storage, wine cooler and full-sized washer and dryer.

Kenneth City multifamily sells

A fully-renovated multifamily property with eight units at 6538 42nd Avenue N., Kenneth City has sold for $1.78 million. It was first listed last December for $1.9 million.

Built in 1958, four structures, ranging in size from 1,218 to 1,296 square feet, provide a total of 5,028 square feet of living space. There are two, two-bedroom/one-bath units in each building.

Recent updates include kitchens with shaker-style cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances; modern tilework, fixtures and hardware in the bathrooms; new baseboards and crown moldings; and in-unit washers and dryers.

Additional improvements include new roofs on all buildings, updated windows, new HVAC units, added insulation and fresh exterior paint.

The 0.37-acre parcel offers a private parking lot, upgraded landscaping and new fencing.

The seller, under the registered name Balope Investments, purchased the property in 2023 for $1.78 million. Bailey Bjugan with Dalton Wade, Inc. was the listing agent.

Freestanding Tarpon Springs office for under $500,000

A one-story, freestanding office building at 112 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Tarpon Springs has listed for $469,000.

Built in 1901, the 1,244-square-foot structure sits on a 0.23-acre parcel of land minutes from downtown Tarpon Springs. Inside are two private offices, a reception area, kitchen, conference room and one restroom.

A co-owner and listing agent, Walter Penachio with Palm Life Realty, purchased the property under the registered name PW Developments, LLC this past April for $210,000.
