Idea Stacking

"The Cross Bay Ferry was a success and I'm proud of PTSA for expanding on it. - Needs to have later times on Friday and Saturday - Please work with Rays and Bolts to schedule ferry times around homes games (Bolts already do this) - Dock at St Pete Pier and Tampa Convention Center - Instead of putting the money back towards the bus system that I doubt anyone on the ferry is using, let's use the extra revenue to have the trolley pickup near St Pete ferry dock. - Smaller Boats that go more frequently - Work with local vendors on food, drink, etc while on boats - Add advertising revenue with local businesses on the boats"
"This service should be advertised for what it is: a tourist and leisure transportation option. If a working person on either side of the Bay has the time and money to faithfully use it as their primary means to travel, then that’s good for them. I fail to see how any working person has the bandwidth to travel up to 50-minutes each way a day when they can use their own vehicle for less travel time and possibly less money. As for tourists, time and money are considerations; however, the ferry ride would likely be a wonderful and novel way to experience the two cities. As a local, I might consider using the ferry if I were attending an event in Tampa only if I knew the schedule would comfortably fit my itinerary. I find it a bit disingenuous to seemingly tout the ferry as a sure-fire means to reduce traffic on the Howard Frankland."
